Default Disrupting chop needs to have a 1/2 sec cast time

Disrupting chop the axe adrenaline interupt needs to have a 1/2 sec cast time just like all the other interupts in the game pretty simple realy. I dont understand how this was overlooked but needs to be fixed asap.

Spammable enough as is at 6 adrenaline, which is what makes it good in the first place. If it was 1/2 attack speed, then Savage Slash better be changed back to 5 energy and 10 recharge or the balance between the two is even more unfair.

If they lower it to 1/2 seconds then they would have to decrease the time of the skill disable to about 10 seconds...me thinks.

I loled on the 1st two posts mesmers and rangers have more spamable interupts so please think before you post ok?

Yes, you should.

Warrior interrupts are as useful as ranger or mesmer ones, the fact remains chop, with disable time and less than 6 second recharge with nonstop attacking + attackspeed buff, is balanced compared to other warrior interrupts.

This does not mean it should be balanced with interrupts of other classes, because those are other classes.

It is not the warrior's job to interrupt, it is the warrior's job to deal damage.

Well technically, if said damage can be furthered with interrupts (res sigs, interrupting key skills), then why not? A good deal of wars run distracting blow as it is.

Warriors also have the most spammable point-blank interrupts.

i think it should be a 3/4 cast, i cant even interrupt a res signet with disrupting chop, as he tends to attack after i clicked it, THEN use his disrupting chop..

Learn to click right before an attack, not after he starts his next attack.

The fact is that if disrupting chop was set to 1/2 sec, it would be extremely overpowered. I mean, look at it compared to distracting blow, then think of disrupting chop with a 1/2 sec activation. Or compare it to disrupting stab.

It's perfectly fine how it is. Under frenzy I can still easily get guardians and the occasional RoF with it, just elarn to time it.

ive tried it at almost every point, and only twice did he actually use it BEFORE doing another action

^^ although i have never tried it under frenzy, i guess thats the key ^_^

With an IAS it's easy to get 1 second casts.. any attack buff would be very overpowered, as mentioned.

Disrupting chop isnt spammable by any mean, beacause its not there when you need it its there when ITS ready and if for some reason you cant gain adrenaline its not even there.

Agree, to be spammable it should be 4 adrenaline (like sever artery). It might not be good interrupt but if its spammable it can be decent skill.

Yeah, it's nonsense to say it's spammable since it simply isn't.

To be truly spammable it should be able to recharge itself and it obviously doesn't so you can't spam it - it will always have a 'recharge' time, meaning at least you will need to use another skill for it to recharge.

90% of the time the skill is used to disrupt other warriors using their healing sig

If a warrior is chasing you and has pre-activated disrupting chop... you would think twice about stopping to use a skill.

It's fine, and it is effective just the way it is.

Giving it a 1/2s cast would make it overpowered. It's already very playable as-is.

Suck less IMO - plenty of warriors use it effectively as it is - it would be horribly overpowered if it was 1/2 second only.

Not every interrupt skill is ment to be able to cut down skills quickly, some are cheap and less effective, some are more difficult and more expensive.

And this isn't an interrupt, the name of the skill is Disrupting Chop, and it Disables the enemy skill for a significant period of time, making it an entirely different skill. Whether or not other classes disrupting skills are faster is also part of the balance of that skill, for that class, and doesn't mean disrupting chop is broken.

This is certainly not a broken or worthless skill, please bring up something significant like, Wild Strike, which is suppose to break stances but will miss just about any evasive stance since it isn't unevadable (worthless counter move).
